Grammy-winning artist, John Berry and his wife Robin have worked together most of his music career, and now have embarked on a new journey and project they are creating together through the podcast series Faith, Family & Friends. The twice monthly subscription based podcast is an interview series where John and Robin provide a warm atmosphere of conversation in their ‘sitting around the kitchen table’ approach to talking with their guests. About Richie Furay:
Richie Furay is an American singer, songwriter and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame (1997) and the Colorado Music Hall of Fame (2015). Richie is a music pioneer known for forming Buffalo Springfield (with Stephen Stills and Neil Young), Poco, and the Souther Hillman Furay Band. His best-known songs, Kind Woman , Pickin’ Up The Pieces and Good Feelin’ To Know, have reached classic status and appear on many country rock compilations. In 1983 Furay stepped away from the music world to become the senior pastor of a non-denominational Christian church, Calvary Chapel of Boulder, Colorado. He pastored the church for 35 years, retiring from the pulpit ministry on Christmas Eve, 2017. Throughout the years He continued to perform as a solo artist and regrouped with Buffalo Springfield in 2011 to headline the Bonnaroo festival. Richie continues to record releasing his latest CD Hand in Hand in 2015 and is currently recording a compilation of “country classics†(including John Berry’s “Your Love Amazes Me†to which John lends his voice) in Nashville scheduled for release in September. Richie has been married to his wife Nancy for 53 years. They have four daughters and 13 grand-children. A documentary, Through It All: The Life and Influence of Richie Furay is currently in post-production. The trailer is narrated by Cameron Crowe and is also scheduled for release in 2021.
